What you will bring to the Health & Social Care Council and the techUK Health & Social Care programme:
With an extensive history of working across Health and Social Care over the past 30 years, I bring a significant understanding of the pressures and challenges that Health and social Care organisations face.
Working closely with central government departments and front-line services to support transformational change to deliver efficiencies and utilize technology for the benefits of patients and citizens.
I am able to bring an authoritative voice to the TechUK council combined with a great understanding of policy and interpretation within the service. My close links with government departments and NHS have enabled greater influence on policy direction taking into account the views of the wider TechUK membership, whilst providing exposure to the reactions of the NHS and social care teams on the implementation of new technologies and policies.
I will continue to support and initiate strategic alliances for the council and TechUK. As a member of the council for the last 3 years I have led the partnership with the NHS Digital Academy that saw the introduction of the mentoring scheme and closer ties to the NHS Digital Academy.
