Eoin Perera, CDW UK

Biography

With 15 years sales experience in the Healthcare sector I bring an in depth understanding of the market alongside strategic vision, pragmatic delivery and tangible transformation outcomes. I am currently responsible for CDW’s £80m+ Healthcare division where I have been pivotal in establishing a number of key initiatives that have focused on achieving greater returns on investment in tandem with effective outcomes for healthcare organisations.

I have built a number of enduring strategic partnerships and fully embrace the need for an eco system of suppliers that provide complete, effective and sustainable solutions to healthcare organisations. I am fully engaged with emerging technology and partners in an ever-evolving industry and I take full responsibility for the collective decisions made, providing a single point of accountability for CDW’s Healthcare business across the UK.

What you will bring to the Health & Social Care Council and the Health & Social Care Programme:

My expertise in bringing organisations together is evidenced by the way that I have aligned trusts and other health and social care organisations with similar challenges together, providing a single platform that unites aspiration and possibility, ensuring transformation for all and ensuring ideas are leveraged across organisational structures.  I will utilise these skills and experience to amplify the voice of the council, locally, regionally and nationally.

During the my tenure at CDW I have sought to introduce small businesses and niche providers into solution discussions that I and my team chair with health and social care organisations, thus enabling the opportunity for these businesses and guaranteeing the most innovative approaches available to the sector are recognised and understood.  I feel this approach mirrors the aspirations of the Health and Social Care Council, guaranteeing that the sector benefits from the widest scope of transformation and improved patient outcomes.

I will share my passion and understanding of the transformative power IT offers to the Health and Social Care sector, helping build recognition of the innovation that is possible and amplifying the TechUK voice, ensuring that every stakeholder understands the art of the possible.
